Moderators
We have carefully selected all of the Virtues @ Work moderators. They are all seasoned business professionals coming from a wide variety of backgrounds and interests. The common denominator is that they all possess a strong and upright character. In addition, they are all devoted to their families and the social milieu that they encounter in the course of their ordinary life.
All are enthusiastic to engage with a younger generation of future leaders that enroll in the Virtues@Work program.

NICOLE SCHEIDL, LLB, LLM
Nicole Scheidl is the CEO and co-founder of Fit Minds, a Canadian company providing cognitive stimulation therapy programming for seniors in Canada, the USA and Australia. Nicole practiced law with Cunningham, Swan in Kingston, Ontario. She served as Lower School principal at Hawthorn School for Girls in Toronto and held Business Development positions in several high-tech and defense companies in both Tampa, Florida and Ottawa, Ontario. Nicole is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and has a master’s in law from Queen’s University. She is married to Andrew Scheidl, MSM and they have seven children.

STEPHEN REBELLO, MBA, BSC
Currently the GM at Rolark Stainless Steel. I have spent most of my professional career in the manufacturing and metals distribution industries. I have 13 children and have been married for 25 years. I have enjoyed serving on the Board of a couple of private schools here in Toronto.

GIA D’SOUZA
Gia spent the first 15 years of her career working with several inspiring healthcare organizations and leaders in Canada and the UK to develop strategies that will modernize healthcare systems and lead to tangible improvements for patients and families. In 2019, after the birth of her third child, Gia sensed the need for a career change and transitioned into a full-time role at home. Over the last three and a half years Gia has given birth to a fourth baby, started a company writing birth stories for parents (www.birthstories.ca), completed an impressive list of DIY home projects, and is currently pregnant with baby number five! Her list of failures is as extensive as her accomplishments, which she views as equally valuable. Gia is supported by her husband, her faith and her unwavering belief in human kindness.

GERSON D’SOUZA
Gerson D’Souza is a husband to his wife Gia and proud father of 4 young children and living in Mississauga. He spends his days working as an investment advisor with TD Wealth and spends most of the rest of his time spending time with his family. Aside from this Gerson is involved with several charities which help instill virtue in families and professionals and he intermittently works on lowering his 18 golf handicap.

CRISTOBAL SANCHEZ-RODRIGUEZ
Cristobal Sanchez-Rodriguez is an Associate Professor at the School of Administrative Studies at York University where he teaches and researchers in management information systems and business process integration with ERP. He also has research interests in these areas having published several academic articles, most recently writing about the job tasks and skills required by business analytics in management accounting.. He currently lives in Toronto with his wife Kathy and three children.

Rob Novak
Rob is a seasoned veteran from electric power generation industry with more than 34 years of experience in varied roles operations, engineering, forecasting as well as regulatory affairs. He obtained a Bachelor of Engineering Science from University of Western Ontario and a Master of Science in Industrial Administration from Purdue University. He has a keen interest in domestic and geo-politics, economics, industrial and energy policy. He is married to Flora, and resides in Oakville along with their children Maria and Stephen. Outside of work, he enjoys camping, chess and DIY projects. He is past President of Family Enrichment Toronto.
